Delivering more social homes
Many Queenslanders still need a safe place to call home, with social and community housing playing a critical role across the state.
The Queensland Government has invested in delivering more social and community housing with 53,500 social and community homes committed by 2044.
Homes will be spread across the state in areas that need them most, with homes being delivered in every corner of Queensland.
Almost 5,000 social and affordable homes are already in construction or under contract to be delivered across Queensland.
The significant social and community housing investment will support partnerships with the community housing sector to expand the delivery of homes for those who need them most, built to high sustainability and accessibility standards.
