Extending the $30,000 First Home Owner Grant
We’re extending the $30,000 First Home Owner Grant until June 2026, unlocking the door to home ownership for more Queenslanders.
The grant supports first home buyers in Queensland by creating opportunities, removing financial barriers and making home ownership a reality for more Queenslanders.
To receive the boosted grant, you must:
- be a buyer or builder of a new home who meets the eligibility criteria
- have signed an eligible contract between 20 November 2023 and 30 June 2026, or for owner builders, laid the foundations between these dates.
The total value of the home and land must be less than $750,000.
